Pumpkin Spice Hot Toddy

I know it’s not even October yet, but I already can’t seem to stop with the pumpkin…and it seems like everywhere I go, I’m surrounded by them. Not that I mind, of course – pumpkin everything is one of my favorite parts about fall! But for all those who just aren’t into pumpkin, never fear; I still have several non-pumpkin recipes to post, including some delicious pies I have lined up for Thanksgiving this year.

In the meantime though, since I’ve been a little under the weather these past few days, I made myself a nice hot toddy with a pumpkin twist – and it was too good not to share. Remember to enjoy responsibly, and have a wonderful weekend!

Place the tea bag in a large glass, and pour in boiling water until the glass is 3/4 full. Let the tea steep 6-8 minutes for a strong cup of tea. Add in the whiskey or bourbon, and then stir in the honey and pumpkin spice syrup. Drop in a cinnamon stick if desired.
