Keurig K-Cup Pack Countertop Storage Drawer Giveaway

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and that Santa was good to you this year! I had a lovely Christmas, and it seems I inadvertently took a little time off from blogging – I rarely had my phone or computer near me the entire time. My family, and especially my sister, and I were too busy catching up with extended family, playing with new gifts, watching Dr. Who marathons, going to the mall, and baking cream pies! While it’s always nice to unplug once in a while, I’m back now, and with a giveaway as well…I just want to keep Christmas going a little longer! My friends from Green Mountain Coffee and Keurig are giving away one of these nifty storage drawers that holds 24 K-Cup packs in two different drawers, which are reversible and great for freeing up some room on the counter and for organizing your favorite coffees and teas. It’s always nice to kick off the New Year feeling organized and ready for new things! Also, on the subject of teas, have I mentioned how addicted I am to the Café Escapes chai tea latte? My sister got me hooked on them, and now it’s my go-to drink on wintery days, which seem to have come suddenly to upstate NY in the last few days. Definitely give them a try if you haven’t yet!

And now, on to the giveaway to win your very own countertop storage drawer. To enter, simply leave me a comment letting me know your favorite holiday tradition, or if you don’t have one yet, just tell me how you spent your holiday! The giveaway ends Thursday, January 3rd at midnight, and is open to US residents only. One winner will be randomly selected using Random.org and contacted Friday, January 4th. Good luck!

Full disclosure: I am a paid Keurig K-Cup Ambassador, however the opinions expressed here are all my own. Prizes are courtesy of Keurig and Green Mountain Coffee.

I am trying to start a family tradition with my 2 year old son. This year we cooked cookies for Santa (recipe chosen by mom son choosing which picture he liked most) reindeer treats (aka homemade dog treats), read 3 Christmas themed books, then opened 1 present prior to going to bed. I know that is probably typical of a Christmas Eve, but I kind of like that its a tradition that has been common for many families.

We go on a Christmas light scavenger hunt and then out for BBQ the week before Christmas. It’s kinda one last peaceful night before the chaos starts. We love it!

Due to the sheer size of my immediate family (there are 3 of us) my parents always wrapped every single gift including the gifts in our stockings, so our tradition is that one person opens a gift and we watch, then the next and so on and so forth. Including opening each individual gift from the stocking. It may seem silly, but it extends the time of gift opening and the time where we all can watch and appreciate the happiness and excitement from opening each gift. I guess when you don’t grow up with a lot of money, and a small family, you learn to appreciate everything you get. My mother always taught me to write thank you notes, in our hurried pace this is something i still do for ANYTHING I receive, the thank you note is a lost art but I can tell you by the constant comments I get they are greatly appreciated by those that receive them.

The only time my husband bakes/cooks is on Christmas Eve. I have many food allergies, so I am difficult to cook for. My husband spends weeks before Christmas researching a treat that is safe for me to eat and prepares it on Christmas Eve. That evening, we have appetizers, the treat(s) he has prepared (of course!) and exchange stockings. This year he made peppermint bark that was not only safe for me to eat, but incredibly delicious! I was so grateful for his time and effort I actually cried! It was my favorite gift of the entire season! This tradition reminds me how blessed I am to have such a loving spouse who I am blessed to share the holidays with! :)

I do not have a tradition as of yet. My husband and I are planning on adopting a tradition from his family. I spent the holiday with family. It was my first Christmas as a mother to my newborn child.

My family tradition is to open up one gift on Christmas which is a new pair of pajamas to wear that evening to bring in Christmas.

No family of my own yet to start fun traditions with. I spent Christmas at my parents house enjoying lots of laughs with my siblings.

I love baking lots of different cookies with my daughters a few weeks before Christmas. We have fun sharing the treats with friends! We go to church on Christmas Eve and then open a present when we get back; the rest of the gifts are opened on Christmas Day.

We gather as family at several homes. it’s a tradition now for40years plus as the family grows we go around the room and share stories of life, how grateful we are for our everyday gifts, our thanks for our Savior Jesus Christ, always seem to have some tears that day. it’s a wonderful holiday as family.
