Decorated Wedding Cookies

Saturday was my brother-in-law’s wedding, so hubby and I had quite a busy weekend helping out with wedding-related activities, and of course, celebrating! It was such a beautiful wedding, and we couldn’t be happier for them.
Although I didn’t have nearly as many responsibilities as hubby since I wasn’t in the wedding party with him, I was asked to bring some cookies for the cookie table they had in lieu of favors. Even though I’ve only successfully decorated cookies once before, the thought of decorating some cute wedding cookies for the table was too fun to pass up…and, since my good friend Jen of My Kitchen Addiction brought some gorgeous cake cookies to the Big Summer Potluck last year, I knew exactly who to go to for decorating tips and advice!
In fact, I totally copied her design because I loved it so much – and, so did everyone else at the wedding. By the time I heard that the cookie table had been set up, all of my cookies were almost gone – luckily, I was able to sneak in and snatch one for the bride, who loved them too! I’m so glad that I helped to make their day as special as the two of them!
