Puffle Cake

We celebrated my sister’s birthday over the weekend, and I made her this puffle cake. What’s a puffle, you ask? Well, I’m not exactly sure what they are either, but they’re from Disney’s MMORPG for kids, Club Penguin. When you sign up to play, you can customize your penguin character and adopt puffles as pets for your penguin to take care of. I did a quick search on Google and grabbed a picture of the stuffed animal version:

I think the next time around, I’d try to make the hair even more pronounced since the frosting rounded out the jagged edges a little more than I thought it would. It was fun to make, though! Underneath all that frosting was a two-layer chocolate cake with a layer of chocolate buttercream. Yum!

I know what puffles are, too! My daughters were some of the first Club Penguin users years ago. My youngest (now 11) *still* plays! Fun stuff! :D

Wow at first glance, that looks like it is made of fabric, amazing piping work there! No idea who he is though he reminds me of “stuffy” on “show me show me” here on cbeebies.
