Whew! We made it to the end. I was a little bummed last week for going over by $3.59, but I do feel proud of us for making it through this week without spending anything else. Granted, we did have some help from friends – not purposely, but that’s just how the summer usually goes, with lots of get-togethers and hanging out. Overall, I feel pretty good about the challenge. We spent a little over $100 on groceries for the entire month, and we definitely did not eat macaroni and cheese or ramen noodles every day. Thanks to Susan for hosting such a great challenge!
