Dark Chocolate Mousse Pie

If you’re looking for an easy, no-bake dessert recipe, you’ve come to the right blog post. If you also love chocolate – this is your lucky day! This pie is quick and easy, and there’s no baking required.

This is a very good thing.

You’re going to need:

First, pour the cold water into a small bowl, and empty the contents of the gelatin packet into it.

Boil the other 1/3 cup of water. Pour the boiling water over the gelatin mix, and stir until the gelatin dissolves completely.

Mix together the cocoa powder and sugar, and then add in the vanilla and the whipping cream.

Beat on medium-high speed until the mixture forms peaks.

Pour in the gelatin mixture, and then mix on medium-high speed again until well-blended.

Pour the chocolate filling into the crust…

…and then let the gelatin set in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

I know, it takes twice as long as the lemonade cheesecake pie did. But that’s because it’s twice as good. You’ll just have to trust me until you try it for yourself!

  5. I just made this and while the chocolate was sooo yummy, the gelatin hardened in chunks and refused to be broken up by my mixer. Any tips?

  6. Sarah – I’d maybe try heating up the gelatin mixture again to see if it will smooth out some. Hopefully it will set up again once chilled…I’ve never tried it before though so I can’t promise anything, but that’s what I would do! Good luck!
