Slow-cooker Sunday: BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches
November 25, 2007 | Print | E-mail | Filed under BBQ, pork, slow-cooker
I don’t know what else to say, other than you have to try this! It’s perfect for fall, football season, or any kind of party.
- 4 lbs boneless pork tenderloin, trimmed of fat
- 2 cups of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1 cup medium salsa
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp dried chopped onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp red cooking wine
- Your favorite rolls
Cut the pork loin into small chunks, and throw them in your slow-cooker.
Mix everything (except the rolls, of course) together in the slow-cooker.
Cover and cook for 8 hours on low heat. I like to set it before I go to work, and then come home to a wonderful-smelling house!
Shred the pork using two forks, right in the slow-cooker. The pork will be so tender that it’ll practically fall apart! Serve on the rolls.

I love pulled pork sandwiches! I usually serve it was coleslaw and corn. It’s making me hungry just thinking about it! I don’t have a slow cooker, but this makes me want to get one.
